1. Does GLASSBOX jewellery fade?

Our Jewelry is designed not to fade. However, this comes with a personal responsibility, which means maintaining the quality entirely depends on how well you personally take care of your jewelry. Our jewelry is Gold-plated not pure gold which means constant reactions with chemicals can reduce its shine and the plating. 2. What are GLASSBOX pieces made from?

Our Gold Jewellery is made with Premium 316L Stainless Steel and plated with 4 layers of 18K Gold.
Our Silver jewellery is made with Premium 316L Stainless Steel and plated with 4 layers of 18K White Gold.
Our Black jewellery is made with Premium 316L Stainless Steel and plated with 4 layers of Black Rhodium.

3. Are GLASSBOX pieces safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! all our products are hypoallergenic, meaning they cause zero allergic reactions. The high quality materials we use (18K Gold & Rhodium) make our jewellery suitable for individuals with sensitive skin or metal allergies.

4. Can I shower with my GLASSBOX pieces?

You can wear your Jewellery in the shower, but we don’t advise it. Water won’t damage the jewellery, but it may reduce the shine. If you keep exposing your Jewellery to water, its appearance will change over time. That’s why you should avoid getting your Jewellery wet all the time. We recommend you dry your jewellery as soon as possible using a cloth towel after getting wet. The same thing applies to other varieties of solid gold.

5. Can I swim with my GLASSBOX pieces?

It's best to avoid swimming with your jewellery. Chlorine in pools and saltwater in the ocean can cause damage to the plating and may lead to discolouration or tarnishing over time. To maintain the appearance of your jewellery, we recommend you remove it before swimming and gently clean it with a soft cloth after wear to remove any sweat, oils, or chemicals that may have accumulated.

6. How do i care for my GLASSBOX pieces?

7. How do I pick the right ring size?

Option 1 – If you are within Nairobi, you don’t need to know your size. We’ll send over a couple of sizes to your location and you get to choose one that fits. Shipping is free.
Just select “All sizes – Nairobi” in the ring size option.

 

Option 2 – If you’re outside Nairobi, please use our printable ring sizer to find your ring size and we will deliver your ring. If you miss the size upon receiving the ring, we’ll make an exchange and we cover all the shipping costs associated with the returns and exchanges.

8. Can I personalize my Jewelry?

Yes! We offer engraving services at no extra charge on select products so you can add a personal touch to your jewelry and gifts! Due to their custom nature, these products cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or damaged upon receipt. The engraving may look different depending on the size of the product and the placement of the engraving. 9. When will you be restocking an item that's out of stock?

We restock items regularly, but we recommend that you sign up for product stock notification via the product page so you can be notified as soon as it arrives back in stock.

10.How are GLASSBOX pieces packaged?

Each piece is carefully nestled in a premium Glassbox-branded jewelry box, ensuring it stays safe and looks stunning. Your jewelry box is elegantly presented in an exquisite gift bag tied with a special branded ribbon, adding an extra touch of luxury to your unboxing experience. And to make your gift-giving experience even more special, each piece comes with a personalized gift card. You can either write it yourself or entrust us to handwrite it for you with utmost care and attention to detail. 

Orders + Payments:

1. Where is GLASSBOX based?

We are online based in Nairobi, Kenya.

2. How do I place an order and make payments?

Option 1: Website - You can place your order and make your payments directly via our website. Your order will be delivered to the address you indicate at checkout. If your address is within Nairobi, you'll receive your package within 30-45 minutes. If you're outside Nairobi, you'll receive your package the next day.


Option 2: WhatsApp - You can place your order via WhatsApp and make your payment in the following ways;
i. For orders within Nairobi, you can either pay before or upon delivery. Shipping is free.
ii. For orders out of Nairobi, all payments are made before delivery. Shipping is free.

3. How do I send a Gift Card?

Shopping for someone else but not sure what to give them? Give them the gift of choice with a GLASSBOX gift card. Gift cards are delivered by email (not as a physical card) and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees. Please note gift cards are non-refundable.

2. How long does GLASSBOX delivery take?

If your address is within Nairobi, you'll receive your package within 30-45 minutes. If your address is outside Nairobi, you'll receive your package the next day. All shipping is free.

3. Does GLASSBOX ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide and use a variety of couriers selected specifically for the fastest delivery speed possible at the most reasonable price. Please note that we do not cover shipping fees for international orders.

Warranty:

1. What is your warranty?

We stand behind our products and warrant that all jewellery will be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the products. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it to us for inspection. If we determine your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the merchandise or, if we deem it appropriate, replace the item. If the item is no longer available, GLASSBOX replaces it with a similar item.
